Daryl Beyers

Learning from the ground up, Daryl began as a landscaper and nursery worker while studying at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where he earned a degree in Environmental Design. With over 15 years of professional landscape experience he has designed, built, and maintained gardens in several states across the United States, working as a head gardener on multi-acre private estates and as the owner and principal of a garden design/build firm. More recently Daryl was an editor with Fine Gardening magazine for which he authored two special issues on garden design and presented inspirational design lectures at home and garden shows throughout the country. He is available for speaking engagements on a variety of landscape design and horticultural topics. Daryl enjoys working closely with his clients to achieve the garden of their dreams by creating landscapes that are useful, beautiful, and ecologically sensible.

When he's not making, writing, or discussing great gardens, Daryl enjoys literature, travel, and motorcycling.
