Filled with family gatherings and steeped in tradition, Christmas in New England is a memorable and festive season. It is also the time of the year that we at Poundridge Nurseries, Inc., wind down from our busy schedules and look forward to a well-earned respite from the hustle and bustle of our hectic lives. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t stay busy!
From Thanksgiving through Christmas, Poundridge Nurseries is transformed into a magical holiday center filled with collectibles, ornaments, decorations, and good cheer. We sell only the finest Fraser fir Christmas trees in sizes all the way up to 16 feet tall (carefully loaded onto your vehicle or delivered right to your door). Pick up one of our custom made wreaths or have us decorate your home beautifully for Christmas. Indoors or outdoors, we can create a festive showcase with lighting, trees, garland, wreaths, fireplace mantles, and much more.
For many families a visit to Poundridge Nurseries has been a holiday tradition that has continued through the years as grandparents, parents, and children all join in the fun. On weekends Santa is on hand to hear the children share their wish lists. Each child that visits Santa receives a Christmas tree seedling to be planted as a lasting legacy. The seedlings that have been handed out over the years have since grown into mature trees as these kids continue the tradition by celebrating Christmas by bringing their children to Poundridge Nurseries. We have something for everyone, featuring a feeding zoo with llamas, goats, and sheep, plus complimentary coffee and hot cider.
